SALES ORDERS-PHONE SUPPORT
WAGE: $16-$17/HOUR
LOCATION: DUBUQUE AREA
ASSIGNMENT: TEMPORARY
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, patient, and detail-oriented Phone Support Representative to join our e-commerce customer service team. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inbound phone calls, resolving product or order-related issues, and providing an outstanding shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist customers with order placement, order status, returns, refunds, and general product inquiries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to orders, billing, deliveries, and product concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM and order management systems.
- Follow up with customers when necessary to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.
- Communicate with other departments (e.g., shipping, fulfillment, inventory) to resolve issues.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, promotions, and company policies.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service or call center role (preferably in e-commerce).
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-stress situations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, CRM software, and phone systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or evening shifts as needed.
