Position Summary:
The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by safely producing, packaging, and inspecting food-grade products in accordance with company quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
The Production Operator is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by safely producing, packaging, and inspecting food-grade products in accordance with company quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to established procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and package food-grade powders using heat sealing methods
- Follow all safety procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times
- Perform routine quality checks and accurately complete required documentation throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and follow direction from operators, leads, and supervisors
- Assist with general production duties and other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis and stand for the duration of the shift
