Paint Line Tech Freeport, IL

• Prepare metal components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and performing other required preparation
• Hang and position parts on the paint line according to production specifications
• Operate paint line equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Apply paint and coatings according to established specifications and quality standards
• Monitor painted parts for proper coverage, color, thickness, and overall appearance
• Identify and report paint defects such as runs, drips, uneven coverage, overspray, or missed areas
• Perform touch-up painting and finishing work as needed
• Remove, inspect, and properly handle painted components from the production line
• Maintain paint line equipment and report equipment issues or needed repairs
• Meet production goals while maintaining consistent quality standards
• Perform other painting and production duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous industrial painting, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
• Experience working on a paint line is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to safely operate production equipment and related tools
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
