HVAC Installer Apprentice
Pay: $17–$18 per hour

Start your career in the HVAC industry with paid, hands-on training! Work alongside experienced installers while learning to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems. You'll gain valuable skills, complete an Iowa apprenticeship program, and work toward your Journeyman license.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 17 years old
- Valid Iowa driver's license with a good driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
What You'll Do:
- Assist with residential HVAC installations
- Learn to work with ductwork, copper, PVC, and HVAC equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Transport tools and materials to job sites
- Maintain equipment and complete required documentation
- Attend apprenticeship classes and earn industry certifications
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures
SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday, generally 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (30-minute unpaid lunch). Occasional additional hours may be required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs., climb, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions.
