TRUSS ASSEMBLERS- WAGE INCREASED!
1st shift - $21.07/hour
2nd shift- $23.07/hour
Location: Cascade
Job Summary:
The Truss Assembler is responsible for assembling pre-cut wood and metal materials to build roof, floor, and wall trusses according to blueprints and work orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a good work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and layout instructions.
- Position and assemble truss components using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
- Lay out pre-cut wood and plates on assembly tables.
- Verify dimensions and angles to ensure trusses are built accurately.
- Operate saws, presses, and other equipment used in the truss manufacturing process.
- Inspect finished trusses for quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist with loading/unloading and staging of materials as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or truss manufacturing is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand measurements, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
