We are seeking a motivated Continuous Improvement/ Value Stream Engineer to drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. In this role, you’ll lead plant-wide initiatives to improve OEE, product quality, waste reduction, energy conservation, safety, and operating costs. This position is key in fostering a culture of continuous improvement by mentoring teams and implementing impactful strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex projects, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities to maximize efficiency using Lean concepts.
- Develop and execute continuous improvement strategies with measurable goals.
- Train and mentor team members on continuous improvement methods.
- Coordinate initiatives with plant leadership to optimize resources and reduce redundancies.
- Conduct time and motion studies and validate production standards.
- Utilize value stream mapping and process charting to streamline workflows.
- Partner with training teams to develop standardized work instructions.
- Foster and support cross-functional improvement teams.
- Participate in training, safety, and assigned projects as directed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement role.
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements across teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean certification.
- Project management and industrial manufacturing experience.
