A local Dyersville manufacturer is seeking a skilled Production Operator to join their team. This position is essential to maintaining efficient production flow and ensuring high-quality products for customers.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production equipment and machinery including hand tools, both electrical and manual
- Perform assembly, material handling, and basic machine tasks as directed
- Inspect products and components to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate counts and follow production documentation/instructions
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and in accordance with safety practices
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process issues or opportunities
- Assist team members and flex work in different areas to support daily goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand throughout the shift
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
