CDL A Materials Delivery Driver

Shift: Monday – Friday 6am – 4:30pm (occasional Saturday may be requested)

We are seeking a reliable a CDL A Materials Delivery Driver to join our hiring client’s team in Dyersville, IA. As a key member of their logistics and delivery team, you will be responsible for transporting materials safely and efficiently to various locations in Northeast Iowa and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a direct hire opportunity. Meaning, the right fit candidate would go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a CDL A commercial vehicle to transport materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring secure and proper handling.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes as assigned.
- Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle service, and any incidents.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A driver's license.
- Clean driving record with no recent traffic violations.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
