We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager with proven success in construction industry sales. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, driving market growth, and building long-term relationships. You’ll collaborate with manufacturing leadership and the Outside Sales team to expand the company’s footprint and develop strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers in high-potential industries.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in emerging markets.
- Lead market expansion strategies by researching prospects and analyzing competition.
- Work with the Outside Sales team to ensure a smooth lead-to-sale transition.
- Oversee the business development lifecycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Report on business development activities, sales pipeline health, and market trends.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in business development, strategy, or sales within the construction materials or building industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Texas.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
