Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Technician to support daily operations within a plant setting. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with general facility projects, and supporting production tasks as needed. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Facilities Technician to support daily operations within a plant setting. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, assisting with general facility projects, and supporting production tasks as needed. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general facility upkeep, including trash removal and maintaining cleanliness throughout and around the plant
- Assist with various facility-related projects as assigned
- Support production operations during downtime, including parts pulling and trailer decking
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals
Requirements:
- Ability to routinely lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Ability to climb stairs, and capability to push and pull materials as needed
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus, but not required
