Responsibilities:
- Assist with the safe handling, staging, and preparation of furniture, appliances, and large items
- Load and unload furniture, appliances, and oversized freight with care
- Perform light assembly and preparation of products when needed
- Inspect items and equipment before and after handling to ensure quality and safety
- Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and completion
- Handle items carefully to prevent damage during loading, unloading, and staging
- Use handheld devices for documentation, work orders, and job tracking
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and PPE requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and report any issues
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse operations, logistics, installation support, or furniture assembly is preferred but not required
- Must be reliable, hardworking, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to lift and move large or heavy items
- Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
