We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead and manage site environmental programs and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental regulations. This role plays a key part in supporting sustainability goals and driving continuous improvement in environmental performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental programs related to air emissions, wastewater, and solid/hazardous waste
- Ensure compliance with EPA and Iowa DNR regulations
- Oversee environmental audits, inspections, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Track and report environmental metrics
- Coordinate environmental improvement projects and regulatory responses
- Train and oversee employees performing environmental duties, including hazardous waste management
- Partner with corporate environmental resources and site leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Safety, or related field preferred (or 5+ years relevant experience)
- Strong knowledge of EHS laws and environmental regulations
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and technical procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment
