The Learning Experience and Design Specialist will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and evaluating effective training programs for our workforce. The ideal candidate will have a passion for adult learning methodologies, graphic design experience, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure training materials meet the needs of the hiring company’s diverse workforce. This position is a direct hire opportunity, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for their robust benefits package.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze training needs and develop learning objectives.
- Design and develop engaging and interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, videos, and job aids.
- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create effective learning experiences.
- Incorporate multimedia elements, such as graphics, animations, and simulations, to enhance learning outcomes.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.
- Daily tasks include: authoring eLearning courses; filming and editing video; creating illustrations and animations; and capturing and editing photos.
What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:
- Experience in instructional design and development, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting or 2 years of graphic design experience, video editing and proven proficiency in Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator).
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and learning management systems (Preferred)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
