FABRICATION SPECIALIST
HOURS: 1ST SHIFT
WAGE: $25-$27/HOUR
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabrication:
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ascertain fabrication requirements.
• Utilize tools to measure, cut, bend, and shape stainless steel materials.
• Assemble and weld components to create robust structures and machinery.
• Installation & Maintenance:
• Install fabricated components in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing stainless steel equipment.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations during all installations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Inspect fabricated components to verify they meet specified tolerances.
• Address any defects identified during the fabrication process.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and repairs.
• Safety Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols while operating fabrication tools and machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Ensure all components meet food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaboration:
• Work alongside engineers and production staff for seamless integration of components.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and requirements.
Shift Details:
• 1st shift - 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Proven experience in stainless steel fabrication, particularly in food manufacturing.
• Familiarity with welding techniques such as TIG and MIG.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of stainless steel properties and fabrication methods.
• Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
• Understanding of safety procedures related to food processing.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various physical conditions.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
