Base Salary: $60,000+ / year and full benefits package

A manufacturing company based in Peosta, IA, is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their 2nd shift team. Essential Responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Operations: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate production staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals, including labor, equipment, and materials. Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production personnel.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance. Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a safety-first culture among team members.
What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:
- Education: High school diploma ( or GED or high school equivalence certificate )
- Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control measures.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite. Experience with manufacturing software is a plus.
