Stamping Operator
Location: Monroe, WI
Shifts: 1st and 2nd
Schedule: 6 am - 4 pm or 4 pm - 2 am (Monday thru Thursday/ Fridays may be OT)
Pay: $19 - $20/hr

Position Overview:
The Stamping Operator operates stamping presses to produce metal parts safely, accurately, and efficiently. This position involves setting up and running equipment, loading metal coils, checking finished parts for quality, completing production paperwork, and keeping the work area clean and safe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, load, and unload metal coils and stamping equipment.
  • Operate stamping presses and properly position materials.
  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Complete production paperwork and enter information into the ERP system.
  • Monitor machines and report equipment problems or safety concerns.
  • Remove scrap metal and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures, work instructions, blueprints, and quality standards.
  • Assist with machine changeovers and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Identify and report defective or nonconforming parts.
  • Participate in process improvements and waste-reduction efforts.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing or stamping/press experience is preferred.
  • Basic mechanical skills and ability to learn machinery.
  • Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions.
  • Comfortable using computers/ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and dependable work habits.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally 70+ lbs. with assistance.
  • Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
