Project Construction Manager
Location: Waterloo / Cedar Falls, Iowa
Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 per year (Base Wage)

A growing, forward-thinking construction firm is looking to add a Project Construction Manager with experience in data center construction and a knack for business development to their high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle management of data center construction projects—from pre-construction through final delivery.
- Drive project acquisition efforts by building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identify opportunities for new business through client engagement, market research, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align project planning with business goals and growth strategy.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement while maintaining rigorous risk assessments.
- Coordinate with utilities, local regulators, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution.
- Represent the company at industry events, pre-bid meetings, and community engagements.
- Oversee site development and ensure contractor performance aligns with quality and timeline standards.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in construction/project management, preferably in the data center or infrastructure space.
- Demonstrated ability to foster client relationships and contribute to revenue growth.
- Understanding of business development processes in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry.
- Strong background in electrical systems, utility coordination, or infrastructure deployment.
- Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects across Iowa.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
- Willingness to travel locally for site visits and client meetings.
