Quality Technician – Day Shift

Shift: Day / 1st shift
Pay: $23–$27/hour
Sedona, in partnership with a local Cedar Rapids hiring manufacturer is seeking a Quality Technician to perform inspections on new machinery and support quality standards in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys problem-solving and working independently.
What You’ll Do
- Inspect new equipment and components for quality and compliance
- Review checklists and maintain inspection documentation
- Identify and troubleshoot quality issues
- Work with production and engineering teams
- Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience
- Ability to use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Strong attention to detail and computer skills
