Shift: 1st Shift, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays)
Pay: $17–$17.50/hr, depending on experience

Job Summary
Sedona Staffing is seeking a reliable and dedicated Welder to join an industrial production team in Freeport, IL. The Welder will be responsible for performing MIG welding according to blueprints, work orders, and production specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on metal components according to blueprints, work orders, and specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
- Inspect welded components to ensure proper weld quality, appearance, and dimensions
- Identify and correct welding defects, including incomplete welds, porosity, and improper penetration
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and other finishing work as needed
- Maintain welding equipment and report any equipment issues or needed repairs
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Meet production goals while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Perform other welding and production duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience preferred
- Welding certification is a plus, but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely operate welding equipment and related tools
- Ability to lift up to 50–60 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
