Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development: Lead the end-to-end design of embedded systems including requirements definition, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout, and embedded firmware development.
- Prototyping and Testing: Create and evaluate functional prototypes. Perform verification and validation testing to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Software Development: Write and debug embedded software using C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors.
- Documentation and Production: Prepare and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test procedures, and production manuals. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to transition products to mass production.
- Sustaining Engineering: Provide technical support for existing products. Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve legacy systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with embedded systems development, including C/C++ programming
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout using industry-standard tools
- Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
