We are partnering with a locally owned and operated family business seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of their office and financial systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent accounting skills and strong administrative abilities. This is a direct hire opportunity, where the best fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company's payroll and receive a full benefits package.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Accounting: Processing accounts payable/receivable, payroll, handling taxes and bank reconciliations while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Administrative Support: Handle general office administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing emails, and assisting with customer inquiries.
  • Vendor and Customer Relations: Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing and payment inquiries
  • Assist with Audits: Prepare financial documents and assist with audits as needed.
  • Bookkeeping: General data entry; hande inventory and pricing; creating invoices
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role. (preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks) 
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with office equipment and basic computer software.
