QC INSPECTOR
HOURS: 2ND SHIFT- TRAIN ON DAYS 2-4 WEEKS
WAGE: $19/HOUR ONCE MOVE TO 2ND $20/HOUR
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs product assessment leak testing.
- Selects test samples in accordance with sampling plan from roving inspections of ongoing production and from accumulated completed subassemblies and finished product.
- Performs dimensional, functional, and visual tests and inspections of raw material components, in-process products, and finished goods in accordance with Quality Control Inspection Procedures (QCIP’s)
- Completes records of testing and inspections performed.
- Pulls samples and inspects incoming raw material components in accordance with Incoming Inspection Procedures
- Participates in maintaining the company’s quality system and adheres to standard operating procedures as applicable.
- Initiates nonconformance (NCR) record in accordance with the Nonconformance Control procedure and completes dispositions as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- 2+ years of Quality Control experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Must have good reading, writing, and math skills.
- Must have good hand/eye coordination to perform product testing.
- Must have at least 20/20 corrected vision.
- Lifts, carries or moves objects up to 50 pounds, with assistance if necessary.
