WELDER
LOCATION: PEOSTA, IA
SHIFT: 2ND SHIFT, 330PM-2AM MONDAY THRU THURSDAY
WAGE: $20-$24/HOUR
This role is responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using various welding techniques to meet high-quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on a variety of metal materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Set up welding equipment and ensure proper machine settings
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Operate additional fabrication equipment (grinders, cutters, drills, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Welding certification preferred (e.g., AWS certification)
- 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication setting
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
