Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technician

Wage : commensurate with education and experience
7am-3pm, 1st shift
3pm-11pm, 2nd shift
9pm-7am 3rd shift 4x10 Mon - Thurs
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain die cast production machines and general facility equipment.
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform PLC trouble shooting
• Create PLC programs and integration systems for new and used equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
• Perform a variety of simple plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
• Responsible for the timely development and implementation of new and used equipment, process improvement, and building enhancement.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to management.
• Excellent attendance expected
• Wear proper PPE for the job
• Comply with safety regulations.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing safely.

Education and Training
• High school diploma or GED
• An AA degree in Industrial Electrical Technology is preferred.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, industrial skills.
• 4+ years PLC programming and HMI’s preferred
• Welding certified
• Electrical Code Certified (24 volt DC to 460 volt 3 phase)
• Plumbing, Carpentry, Machining (CNC, Lathe, Mill) knowledge required
