Sedona is partnering with a privately owned and operated company seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Office Manager to continue growth and success in their production industry. This role is a key decision maker with the President of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the southwest Wisconsin office and supporting the production team. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, meaning the best fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for company provided benefits.
What you get to do (in a snap-shot):
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage and support a diverse team of 12 operations and production employees, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Dispatching: Coordinate all In Bound / Out Bound and company Driver's weekly schedule, receive all phone calls, entry of customer orders, prepare In Bound / Out Bound packing slips, and invoices.
- Financial Management: Work closely with the leadership team to manage the operational budget, control costs, and maximize profitability.
- Supply Chain Management: Oversee inventory management, and logistics to maintain a streamlined supply chain.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations.
- Customer, Vendor and Supplier Relations: Manage relationships with all customers, suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Invoicing / Accounts Receivables / Accounts Payable
- Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations department.
- Maintain clean and organized office building. Professionalism and confidentiality are required.
What we’d like you to bring to the opportunity:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Proven experience as an office manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, quality control, and process optimization.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence and manage budgets effectively.
