Quality Assurance Technician – Multi-Level Opportunities

2nd Shift – 4:00pm – 2:30am
Monday – Thursday (Overtime as needed on Friday)
Wage: $18.00 + / hour (increases as level of responsibilities increase)

We are seeking detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join a local food grade manufacturer Quality Assurance team. This role is structured across multiple levels - with increasing responsibilities and opportunities for growth. On-the-job training is provided—no prior experience required.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and report work practices of production and other employees
- Ensure proper GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) are being followed
- Inspect in-process and finished products for quality and compliance
- Adhere to label compliance policy guidelines
- Log and report quality holds across the organization
- Review incoming Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for compliance
- Conduct residual oxygen testing on products
- Manage retained product samples
- Complete pre-shipment reviews
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Ability to follow complex instructions
- Basic computer and email skills
Education & Experience:
- GED or equivalent required
- No prior experience necessary – full training provided
Work Environment & Schedule
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in cold environments (33°–65°F)
