Sedona in partnering with a leading manufacturing company located in Cedar Rapids, IA are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrical Assembler to join their manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling, wiring, and installing electrical components for industrial machinery and equipment. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This opportunity is a Direct Hire, meaning the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for the company provided benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install electrical components, wiring, and systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Perform quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical assembly or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, particularly in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Working understanding of electrical components, wiring, and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to operate a fork truck
