Staff Accountant
Location: Monticello, WI
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st shift (flexible within standard business hours)
Salary: Starting at 55K, may go up to 65K depending on experience
Description:
Sedona Staffing is hiring an entry-level Staff Accountant to help with accounting, inventory tracking, and cost analysis in a manufacturing environment. This is a good opportunity for someone starting their accounting career and wanting experience with ERP systems, inventory, and production costs.
Responsibilities:
- Help track production and inventory costs
- Perform inventory counts and investigate differences
- Enter inventory adjustments into the ERP system
- Maintain cost and production data
- Assist with job costing and cost allocation
- Analyze production cost differences and profit margins
- Prepare cost and margin reports
- Update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and production routings in the ERP system
- Help set up new products and materials financially
- Support sales and backlog reporting
- Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial records
Qualifications:
- 0–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships count)
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Experience with ERP software is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
