An established global manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead North American supply chain operations supporting business segments. This highly visible leadership role oversees logistics, customer service, forecasting, imports/exports, and inventory management while partnering closely with executive leadership, manufacturing, finance, and global supply chain teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on supply chain leader with strong operational expertise, international logistics experience, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain operations for the North American manufacturing facility in Dubuque, IA
- Oversee imported product flow from international business units in Europe, South America, and China
- Manage customer service and order fulfillment activities for approximately 150 North American accounts
- Drive forecasting accuracy and inventory planning initiatives
- Lead logistics operations involving truck, rail, and container freight
- Manage inventory levels to support working capital and service objectives
- Ensure SOX compliance throughout all supply chain activities
- Develop and execute regional supply chain strategies aligned with global initiatives
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, finance, regulatory, and executive leadership teams
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, freight providers, warehousing partners, and customs brokers
- Promote and support food safety procedures and company food safety culture
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 10 supply chain professionals
What we’d like you to bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of supply chain management experience
- 12+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience in lieu of a degree
- Valid driver’s license, passport, and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Strong experience with JDE, Oracle, and advanced Excel
- Background in manufacturing or industrial operations preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels
- Ability to travel approximately 10–20% for customer visits, meetings, and trade events
