HR RECRUITER

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Recruiter to join our team and manage the recruitment process for our manufacturing operations. The HR Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top talent for a variety of manufacturing positions, ensuring that we meet the staffing needs of our production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition:
- Source, screen, and recruit candidates for a variety of roles within the manufacturing sector, including production operators, assembly line workers, machine operators, and maintenance staff.
- Utilize various sourcing strategies including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and industry networking to attract qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage job postings, review resumes, and conduct initial phone screenings.
- Candidate Selection:
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for manufacturing positions.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Administer skills testing, if applicable, to evaluate technical proficiency for specific roles.
- Onboarding and Documentation:
- Ensure a smooth transition for new hires, including facilitating pre-employment checks and required documentation.
- Coordinate orientation and onboarding sessions to ensure new employees are properly introduced to company policies and manufacturing safety procedures.
- Employer Branding:
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting a positive employer image to candidates.
- Participate in career fairs and other networking events to build a strong talent pipeline for the manufacturing sector.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all recruitment practices comply with company policies and legal regulations, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and labor laws.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment processes, interviews, and candidates for reporting and future reference.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and enhancements to the recruitment strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing job roles, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assess candidates' skills and cultural fit for the organization.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with high-volume recruitment for manufacturing or production roles.
- Familiarity with HR tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or ZipRecruiter.
- Previous experience working with blue-collar workers or in labor-intensive environments.
