Maintenance Technician - Electrical
Wage: $23+/hr depending on experience
Location: Stephenson County IL
Schedule: Day Shift
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuitry, and wiring
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components and control systems
- Repair or replace motors, sensors, relays, breakers, and control panels
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
- Document maintenance activities and repairs performed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience with a strong electrical focus
- Working knowledge of electrical circuitry, wiring, and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs and automated equipment preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
