Quality Manager
NE Iowa: Manufacturing Environment (On site)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop our client’s Quality team, ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications and industry standards. This role is hands-on, highly collaborative, and critical to maintaining excellence across our production process.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Department team.
- Oversee inspections at all stages of production, including first-piece approvals, in-process checks, and final inspections.
- Train employees on inspection methods, quality procedures, and use of measuring equipment.
- Use inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
- Audit processes, identify defects, and implement corrective actions.
- Address customer concerns and maintain strong communication with internal teams and clients.
- Support ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Apply AIAG core tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, MSA).
- Drive process improvement, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.
- Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and quality-related software.
