SHIPPING CLERK- ADMIN SUPPORT TRAINING HOURS: 6AM TO 230PM SHIFTS AVAIL AFTER TRAINING: 2PM - 1030PM MON THRU FRIDAY AND ALSO SHIFT AVAIL 6AM TO 630PM FRI - SUN WAGE: $20/HOUR PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provide administrative support to the shipping department. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : • Recognizes and values customers and fellow associates by: o Working to meet clearly stated internal customer requirements o Looking for opportunities to improve work processes. • Regular and predictable daily on-site attendance is required in accordance with the department schedule. • Conforms to the dress code, the workspace, and the building guidelines, as well as all other company policies. • Establishes and maintains necessary paperwork for efficient communication and operations • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. • Carries out all responsibilities in compliance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal, and local laws. • Other duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or GED required. • 18 years of age or older. • Must be self-motivated and able to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines. • Must be solution-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills. • Work well across teams and exercises good judgment. • Proven ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and ability to follow guidelines and procedures. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, while maintaining a positive attitude and approach to the position responsibilities. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
