The Business Analyst supports the Contract Management leadership team in gathering data and delivering meaningful operational insights to manage the performance of the team and organization. This member of the team will be instilling a technical focus on linking systems and process to best facilitate results. The incumbent will use technical capability, business acumen, and financial prowess to drive cross-functional alignment on the enterprise-wide quote to order value stream.    

Technical expert and advocate in the design and use of systems and processes impacting the department.  Primary liaison between department, system administrators, and IT developers.
Maintain database, related tools, and processes that support revenue recognition activities, including audit reports and management of training program for off-shore resources.
Develop and manage enterprise-wide use of electronic signature functionality within the sales contract process.
Construct rules, process, and reporting to support effective management and analysis of sales contract KPI’s, to include but not limited to: renewal rates, non-standard terms and conditions, cycle times, and throughput.
Support the design and implementation of people, process, and technology transformation initiatives geared toward the creation of a world-class quote to order value stream.
Develop and liaison with key business partners to create dashboards to manage information delivery and critical metrics to best utilize, resource, and manage the cradle-to-grave sales contract process.
Develop and communicate actionable insights based on data contained in disparate systems.
Facilitate tracking and performance of department initiatives, including OKR’s, special projects, and daily performance. Translate performance into tangible output such as cost savings, etc.
Identify performance improvement and operational excellence opportunities. Drive process improvement using Lean Six Sigma and related operational excellence tools.
Create and actively monitor reports for managing SLA’s between company and out-sourcing teams. Proactively utilize KPI’s to maximize the utilization and effectiveness of the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: BA/BS Degree in Business or equivalent work experience
5 years’ experience in an analytic role, developing metrics and managing data/process in CRM and analytical systems.

Critical Skills

Proven experience in creating KPI’s and communicating meaningful insights to various levels of an organization.
Expertise supporting commercial sales operations, contract operations, and/or financial planning & analysis
Advanced to expert level knowledge and capability in database and dashboard tools such as SQL, Access, Excel, Spotfire, and Tableau.

Desired Knowledge and Skills

Quantifiable experience working in SalesForce CRM
Quantifiable experience working in Contract Life Cycle Management (CLM) and Configure Price Quote (CPQ) systems, preferably Apttus.
Healthcare experience a plus
Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher (highly preferred)
