Sedona Staffing Services is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our Cedar Falls/Waterloo market.
This position will require you to work in our office and within the community. You will help build, manage, qualify, and maintain a database of clients and prospects for in-person visits to create relationships and increase business with the client.
Prospect and consult with businesses to understand needs, provide solutions to those needs
Manage the selling process with each business
Close new accounts based on set objectives
Provides sales information back to account manager
Ability to travel to client communities on a regular basis
Strong, effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and on team projects
Self-motivation with the ability to identify client needs and offer solutions
Time management skills for organizing multiple deadlines and multiple clients
Ability to conduct oneself professionally and to collaborate with clients
Great relationship building skills
This position will not only be working in the office but networking in the community, attending social events that may require some evening and/or weekend work and travel locally in the Cedar Valley.
