CERTIFIED AUTO SERVICE TECHNICIAN
DIRECT HIRE (Buchanan County)
Wage: $25 - $35 pending experience
Seeking a highly skilled and Certified Auto Service Technician with hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing cars and trucks with knowledge of General Motors (GM) vehicles a plus. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while upholding the quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on GM vehicles (Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick).
- Use GM-approved diagnostic tools and software.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and provide service recommendations.
- Complete repairs according to OEM and dealership standards.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with GM technical training and certifications.
Qualifications:
- ASE Certification (preferred or in progress).
- GM Certified Technician (preferred or willing to complete).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools and follow factory procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical school or manufacturer training is a plus).
