TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
LOCATION: TENNESSEE REMOTE
CONTRACT: 12 MONTHS
Technical Project Manager – 12 month contract Overview Of Position As a Technical Project Manager, you will work with various stakeholders at different levels of the organization to manage multiple fast paced IT related projects. This project management role will be focused on Information Security related projects related to our Change Healthcare Reimagined, future of work, efforts to transform the organization as we continue to adapt, change and innovate to work smarter, better and faster together.
What Will Be My Duties And Responsibilities In This Job?
Plan and manage multiple concurrent complex projects mostly focused on Information Security
Work with key stakeholders to develop a clear understanding of a business need, define the project goals and charter, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Apply project management tools/techniques
Drive project-related change management and issue resolution
Manage multiple stakeholders, aligning on common goals and communicating risks; run effective meetings
Develop and maintain project plans, identify resource needs, and manage project schedule
Develop, maintain and present metrics as needed
Build relationships of trust across functions and organizations; collaborate effectively across teams to define strategy, goals and commitment to timelines and deliverables
Anticipate the needs, risks, and challenges of your projects
Develop creative and practical solutions based on evaluation of multiple factors
Deliver value by leading project teams and by driving effective collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other Project Managers
Drive projects forward amid stalling forces
Recommend improvements to established business processes while continuing to deliver high value in execution
What Are The Requirements Needed For This Position?
3+ years managing large, complex programs with multiple project teams, adhering to standards
IT infrastructure and security project management experience
Significant experience in project/program management, requirements definition and/or deployment of business requirements to information systems
Knowledge of information security concepts (IPS/IDS, DLP, SSL, Threat Intel, IAM, and vulnerability management)
What Other Skills/Experience Would Be Helpful To Have?
Ability to manage large, complex project simultaneously (either IT infrastructure, application development, business process and/or data center migration projects) through cross-functional teams (> 20 team members) working within a software development environment or hardware implementation cycle
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with diverse working groups with an eye toward project dependencies.
Working knowledge of the components of the software development lifecycle
Proficient in MS Office Tools: MS Project, SharePoint, MS Visio, MS Power Point, MS Word, and MS Excel
Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment (someone who is calm, cool and collected in high stress environments)
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
