Sales Manager
Location: Monticello, WI
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

Position Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for growing revenue through business development, account management, and strategic sales planning. This role serves as the primary contact for key customer accounts while partnering with internal teams to support pricing, forecasting, product development, and long-term business growth. The Sales Manager also provides leadership to the Customer Service and Sales Support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities.
- Lead customer meetings, business reviews, plant tours, and industry networking events.
- Manage key accounts, ensuring exceptional service and timely resolution of customer needs.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams on sales forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Manage pricing, profitability analysis, contract negotiations, and price increase initiatives.
- Partner with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Accounting to support new product launches and customer projects.
- Supervise Customer Service and Sales Support staff while helping develop sales processes, reporting, and future team growth.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience; food manufacturing, dairy, ingredients, or CPG experience preferred.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Requires regular travel for customer visits, trade shows, and business development; occasional overnight travel.
- Comfortable with combination of office and production floor environment, remote work may be available based on business needs.
