Sedona Staffing Services in Prairie du Chien has a manufacturer in the Boscobel area who has immediate openings.
3nd Shift 10:30pm-6:30am, will include rotating weekends
Pay: $14.00/hr
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Adhere to all GMPS, food safety, regulatory (USDA) and company policies, procedures, work instructions and employee expectation requirements that support food safety and food defense.
To inspect, package and palletize products to company and customer specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Understand and follow all GMP’s.
Complete all required paperwork that applies to specified areas and products
Metal Detector
Code Date
Pack-Off Report
Pallets Tags
Scale Verification
Understand palletization of each product
Rotation of layers
Direction of cases
How many cases per layer
How many layers per pallet
Identify defects in packages/pouches
No code date
Bad seals
Leakers
Monitor weights and case counts
Reset scale
Tare scale
Program number of pcs per case
Assemble cases either manually or automatically using case making machine
Operate a pallet jack
Up/down
Set
Maneuver
Understand Production Schedule
Monitor production schedule board to know what is scheduled to be produced in the area of work.
Safety
Operate all equipment following company and manufactures safety guidelines
Use proper lifting techniques when lifting
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
One year of hands-on experience in manufacturing, and/or service work preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food safety and USDA regulatory preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with HACCP procedures preferred but not mandatory.
