3RD PARTY RISK MANAGER
Maintaining the TPRM procedures and enhancing the existing framework and processes.
Assist with the assessment, monitoring, and tracking TPRM lifecycle activities (risk assessment & due diligence, and ongoing monitoring).
Serve as liaison between internal business units and subject matter experts for any TPRM guidance needed.
Ensure the completeness of central documentation of Heartland’s third party population.
Collaborating with all areas of the Company that have review requirements (BSA/AML, Compliance, Vendor Management, Legal, Information Security, Credit, etc.).
Helping facilitate audit and regulatory examination request materials related to any aspect of the Third-Party Risk Management program, including assembling documentation, gathering information from stakeholders.
Participating in the implementation of corrective actions on issues identified during exams, audits, or other operational events.
Assist with preparing reporting on third party risk management program metrics to internal business partners, executive management and other stakeholders (e.g. HTLF Board of Directors, regulators), including but not limited to the vendor population, risk distribution, on-going monitoring/review status updates, issues aging, watch list reporting etc.
Assisting in the development and implementation of supplementary risk programs, procedures, templates, and forms.
Developing positive working relationships across the organization to promote Third Party Risk awareness.
Assisting in maintaining and enhancing the Company’s internal intranet site (Heartland Highway)) for Third Party Risk.
Participating in ad-hoc projects or requests as deemed appropriate and completing all necessary Company mandatory e-learning courses as required.
Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.
Bachelors Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Finance, Project Management required
1-3 years of banking or third party risk management experience preferred
Familiarity with third-party management frameworks, information security, and/or risk controls
Proficiency in Microsoft production applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and handle ad-hoc projects or requests
Effective interpersonal skills and team-oriented with ability to collaborate with employees throughout all levels of the Company
Strong verbal and written communication skills
