Location: Amarillo, TX
Wage: $95k - $120k /year (pending skill set and experience) + Bonus Opportunity
A local agricultural based company in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Sales Manager to oversee all aspects of sales and business growth. This position is based out of Amarillo with market management responsibilities to include Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct new employee safety training, and ensure monthly safety training.
Assist in hiring of future sales personnel
Conduct sales meetings
Manage sales quarterly and yearly goals
Promote sales, and profitability, of feed mill manufactured products, processed grains, and commodities.
Promote sales, and profitability, of forage inoculants, molasses and tubs.
Budget and control sales expenses
Review monthly commission reports and provide input
Manage customer events and customer relations
Evaluate and develop new markets as directed by Director of Feed Business
Receive product/animal complaints, and collect proper information
What we need from you:
Leadership Skills – demonstrated passion for the position and ability to hold employees accountable. 2+ years of sales management experience is a plus
High level of detail, multi-tasking, analytical, and problem solving skills with intuition to create solutions.
Positive, self-motivated individual with organization and communication skills.
College degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, or Business Management
