On-Site Repair Technician – Manchester, IA
Full-Time 
$18-$23 hrly

We’re looking for a hands-on technician to join our high-performance computing facility. If you’re mechanically or electrically inclined and enjoy troubleshooting hardware, this role offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment with interesting tech.

What You’ll Do:
  • Maintain and repair specialized computing equipment
  • Diagnose hardware/software issues
  • Replace or repair components like boards, power supplies, and cooling systems
  • Install and configure new hardware
  • Keep detailed maintenance records
What We’re Looking For:
  • Technical training or experience in electronics, electrical, or mechanical repair
  • Basic Electrical Skills Required:
    • Understand single-phase and three-phase power.
    • Identify and work safely with common voltage levels (120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, 480V).
    • Read and interpret electrical panels, PDUs, and RPPs.
    • Perform safe power connections (C13, C19, L6-30, etc.).
    • Apply proper grounding and bonding practices.
      Use multimeters and clamp meters for testing and troubleshooting.
    • Understand UPS systems, battery banks, and bypass switches.
    • Know how ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and generators operate.
    • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
    • Comply with electrical safety standards (OSHA, NFPA 70E)Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and occasionally respond to after-hours needs
  • Experience in data center, industrial, or electronics repair a plus
