LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
FULL TIME: 1ST SHIFT
WAGE: $20-23/HOUR
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher to oversee daily logistics operations and ensure efficient transportation, warehousing, and delivery processes. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing logistics workflows in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and Monitor Logistics Operations
- Oversee daily logistics activities including warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Ensure timely and efficient movement of goods and services across facilities.
Route Planning and Optimization
- Develop and implement effective delivery route plans.
- Optimize routes to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and meet customer expectations.
Vendor and Client Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, drivers, and clients.
- Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure logistics operations comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and logistics documentation.
Problem Solving
- Identify operational issues, delays, or disruptions in logistics processes.
- Implement corrective actions and solutions to maintain service efficiency.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, customer service, and operations teams to align logistics activities with overall company goals.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics management.
- Proven leadership experience supervising warehouse or logistics teams.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Background in distribution, supply chain, or third-party logistics (3PL) environments preferred.
- Experience managing high-volume logistics operations is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Prior dispatching experience required.
- Experience working for a courier company or major transportation company preferred.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to use logistics software, tracking systems, and communication tools.
