Long Term Contract (1yr +)
Location: Atlanta, GA
Pay Rate: $50/hr - $60/hr (depending on experience)

Summary
The main function of a software engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems.
 
Responsibilities

Gather and analyze requirements and provide technical advice and best practices with respect to integration development and implementation
Provide solution and integration development with Workday including requirements, technical specs, design, custom development, integration testing, UAT and deployment
Monitor and ensure successful completion of integration runs
System Implementation & Adoption
Workday Service & Support

 
Qualifications

S. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
6+ years of experience with technical implementations of projects
MUST HAVE - 4+ years of Workday integration experience
Technical hands-on experience with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation and Studio
Completed Workday Simple Integrations, Core Connector/DT and Studio training
Proficiency in SOAP and REST -based web services
Experienced in XML, XSLT, WWS (Workday Web Services), RAAS
Manages interface schedules to client SLAs. Defines client interface calendar and inventory, monitors integrations to completion, establishes and supports file transmission automation and supporting documentation
Experience handling production support issues, minor and major defects/enhancements
Understanding SDLC and Agile methodologies
Ability to lead assigned Workday integration projects
Strong presentation and communication skills are required
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
Ability to translate customer requirements into implementation plans
Technical acumen to convert plans into real solutions that work
Driven by customer success with a team player attitude
Ability to work at his/her own direction and balance competing priorities and customer needs
