Job Summary:
The Cheese Production Line Worker is responsible for operating and supporting production and packaging equipment within a cheese manufacturing facility. This role ensures that products are produced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and monitor production and packaging equipment
- Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on assigned machinery.
- Accurately complete required production, quality, and safety documentation.
- Train and assist other team members on proper equipment operation and following safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support plant efficiency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, food production, or machine operation experience preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
- Willingness to cross-train and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50lbs as required throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in fast-paced production environment with temperature variations
