STORE MANAGER
DIRECT HIRE
SALARY: $47,000- $58,000
Includes: Days, nights and weekends
 
Position Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the retail location. This includes managing staff, driving sales, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the visual and operational standards of the store. A key part of the role also involves using Microsoft Excel to track inventory, sales performance, staff schedules, and store metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
Store Operations
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the store’s daily operations.
  • Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized, and properly stocked.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels using Excel and/or POS systems.
  • Manage opening, closing, and cash handling procedures.
Team Management
  • Hire, train, supervise, and motivate store staff.
  • Create staff schedules using Excel, ensuring proper coverage and labor optimization.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
Sales & Reporting
  • Drive sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze sales trends, prepare reports, and present insights using Excel.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement sales strategies accordingly.
Customer Experience
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally.
  • Educate customers on conpany’s mission, products, and sustainable practices.
Administrative & Excel-Related Tasks
  • Use Excel to manage:
    • Daily and weekly sales reports
    • Staff rosters and attendance
    • Inventory audits
    • Budget tracking and forecasting
  • Generate pivot tables, charts, and formulas to aid decision-making.
  • Collaborate with HQ on data submissions and performance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc.).
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
  • Passion for sustainability and eco-conscious living.
 
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in eco-friendly or ethical retail.
  • Knowledge of POS and inventory management systems.
  • Certification or training in Excel or data analytics is a plus.
