We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality assurance programs and on-site lab in Dubuque, IA. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with food safety standards, managing quality documentation, overseeing laboratory personnel, and maintaining certifications such as ISO 9001 and IFS. This is a direct Hire professional position. Meaning, the right fit candidate will go directly onto the hiring company’s payroll and be eligible for the robust company’s benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA personnel and oversee food safety programs.
- Ensure ISO 9001 and IFS compliance, conduct audits, and manage CAPA investigations.
- Perform GMP & sanitation inspections and resolve quality-related issues.
- Investigate and address customer quality concerns.
- Act as the primary contact for external audits and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science-related field or 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Previous people leadership experience in a Quality related position
- Preferred: HACCP, FSMA PCQI, IFS, Food Defense, and ISO certifications.
