LOCATION: REMOTE CONTRACT
The main function of a compensation analyst is to support the design and administration of salary and incentive programs as well as the administration of the equity programs.
Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification program. Proactively identify ways to improve and/or automate compensation processes. Provide analytical and data support and recommendations for compensation design and implementation. Ensure processes and programs are compliant with regulatory requirements. Prepare reports, such as organization and flow chards, and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.
Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices (i.e., equal employment opportunity and affirmative action). Knowledge of benefit and pay-scale systems. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required. 10+ years of customer service related experience required.
3+ years' experience with job evaluation and market pricing. 6+ years’ experience in all aspects of analysis and management of broad-based employee compensation programs at a company of comparable size and complexity.
