WAGE: $45/HR
Analyzes internal & external data files to determine if the (client) files contain the needed data elements for ingestion & processing on various application within the Payment Integrity TPL/COB organization Identify missing elements that TPL needs, ask questions regarding the data values in required data elements, and understand how to map the client data into the TPL applications along with determining the needs data transformation to be able to use the client data with our systems Ensure successful translation and transfer of data, including but not limited to combining and reconciling data from one format to another and between storage types or computer systems. Assess legacy and target environments to determine requirements and plan data conversion/migration processes in accordance with time and budget guidelines. Working close with internal business subject matter experts, external client contact and internal software engineers on understanding the data Extract data from sources and cleanse to ensure accurate data transformation. Load data into new system/format/device and verify accuracy and optimal application performance. Execute data extraction programs and analyze converted data for accuracy and quality. Perform tests to ensure smooth data transition. Analyze multiple external client files & related data dictionary to assess the useability of the external data within internal application. Identify gaps in the external data sources that prevent the successful ingestion and usage of the client data. Defines & document the transition rules and ingestion process to load the data into internal applications. Design ingestion solutions for business process that take advantage of current and emerging technologies, best practices, and leverage existing in-house solutions for delivering highly complex functionality Works on complex data issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Used past experience in determining the proper method to evaluate data and determine the accuracy of the results obtained Strong experience in the following; sql, nosql, .NET, relational databases, web services, API, public cloud (AWS, Azure), relational data bases. Strong experience working on/supporting healthcare base applications/systems. Strong communications skill interacting with various internal & external stakeholders Position requires a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years minimum of related healthcare industry experience Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience working on healthcare related applications and related healthcare data formats (member, HCFA, UB, Pharmacy claim records, group, provider data types)
