Job Summary The Software Engineer is responsible for providing second level technical support to Change Healthcare customers. Client facing position that manages the ownership of requests, research, analysis, troubleshooting and customer communication necessary to deliver appropriate resolution to their inquiries. Candidate must be able to prioritize and manage numerous projects/issues, while building and maintaining positive customer relationships. Primary Duties/Responsibility • Understand requirements provided. • Support software applications used for processing healthcare transactions • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in an AWS environment • Provide exceptional customer service • Promptly respond to customer concerns • Lead troubleshooting efforts for file processing issues • Moderates discussions between technical and non-technical end users • Perform product research, provide customer training as needed • Log and monitor technical issues reported by customers • Manage customer issues effectively, escalating appropriately • Communicate updates to customers based upon team policy • Assist in pre-software releases and Quality Assurance tasks • Effectively manage customer calls and meetings • Provide technical support to customers for data ingestion in an AWS environment Requirements needed for this position • 5+ years product support experience in a healthcare IT environment • Understanding of healthcare domain with supporting X12, HL7, FHIR, clinical data, XML, JSON, CSV and other proprietary formats • Provides production support for issues such as data load problems, transformation translation problems, SFTP file transfers • Develops and maintains system diagrams and technical documents for internal and external team • Ensure accurate and timely data availability to meet CHC and customer SLA’s • Requires strong technical experience with XML and XSD • Experience with Web Services and API interfaces • Excellent knowledge of data warehouse technical architecture, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools • Ability to analyze and diagnose software, database, and network problems • Review architecture or solution design, and provide feedback based on best practices, capabilities, and standards-based industry norms What other skills/experience would be helpful to have • Experience of HL7 principles of CMS Interoperability, HL7 certification a plus • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a DevOps AWS environment • Experience with Smile CDR • Experience with Tibco Foresight • Experience with Jira and Agile methodology • Experience with Corepoint
